Macmillan

Raising more than £29.5 million pounds is the aim of this year’s Macmillan Coffee Morning and here at Adjuvantes, we’re helping them on the way.

The annual fund raising fixture is the biggest single event of the year for Macmillan. The money raised will support the work of the cancer support charity in ensuring that nobody has to face the illness alone.

Keen to play our part, we’ve all pitched in at Adjuvantes to put on a spectacular spread of coffee and cake.

Limited only by imagination, everybody has been busy baking and brought their cakes into the office this morning. The choice is truly inspiring with everything from chocolate orange brownies to a gin and tonic cake. We even have vegan cupcakes!

Special congratulations though have to go to Stacey Wood who was voted Best Baker for her Oreo and White Chocolate Fudge and was awarded a badge in recognition.

We are very proud to have again played a part in supporting this charity. One in three of us will get cancer and it will be one of the toughest things we’ll ever have to face, so Macmillan’s goal is to make sure no one faces cancer alone.

They provide medical, emotional, practical and financial support, as well as campaigning for better cancer care. Cancer affects more than just those facing it and Macmillan want to make sure they are there for friends and family too.
